About the Project
As freelance consultant for Avanzate, I'm leading the development of AIExtrusion, transforming their existing product into a modern SaaS platform with integrated artificial intelligence capabilities.
The Challenge
The aluminum extrusion industry needs to modernize its processes and leverage data for better decision-making. AIExtrusion was conceived to transform traditional production monitoring into an intelligent platform that provides actionable insights and predictive capabilities.
My Role
I lead the complete technical development of the platform, which includes:
- SaaS Architecture: Designing and implementing a scalable multi-tenant architecture using React for the frontend and PostgreSQL for robust data management.
- AI Integration: Implementing ChromaDB for vector storage and semantic search, enabling intelligent querying and AI-powered insights from production data.
- Background Processing: Developing Redis-based worker systems for handling async tasks, data processing, and ML model inference without blocking the main application.
- ML Predictions: Building Python-based machine learning pipelines for production prediction, helping factories optimize their extrusion processes.
- Data Visualization: Creating intuitive dashboards that transform complex production data into actionable insights for factory managers.
Ongoing Development
The project is currently in active development, with continuous iterations based on client feedback and industry requirements. Working closely with the Avanzate team to ensure the platform meets the specific needs of the aluminum extrusion sector.
